76 years ago Auschwitz was liberated.
That is a breath away from where we stand that. Not even a full lifetime.
On this International Holocaust Remembrance Day, try to take note of how your culture treats the outsiders. The unwanteds. The scapegoats. The vulnerable. If you're in a minority group, note the times when you're primed to see other minorities as an enemy, infringing on your way of life, rather than a potential partner in building a better world.
All hate is related in that it lets us see people as Other rather than fellow humans. Fight hate.
